Irvington Houseguest Attacked With Bat

Irvington Police were called to a home on Riverview Road Aug. 20 around 8:34 a.m. on reports that a houseguest was attacked with a baseball.

A 23-year-old male who lived at the home said his brother struck his guest, a 27-year-old Irvington resident, with the bat during a dispute. The 23-year-old and the victim, who both appeared to be highly intoxicated, were brought to the police department to be interviewed, police said. The suspect and his sister, a witness, were also questioned.

Police were unable to corroborate anyone's story. No arrests were made.
