Irvington Police Charge One in Marijuana Sale

The Tarrytown resident was arrested following a Greenburgh Drug and Alcohol Task Force investigation.

A Tarrytown man faces a misdemeanor marijuana charge after he was arrested in Irvington on July 31.

According to the Irvington Police Department, the 42-year-old was arrested at the intersection of Main Street and North Broadway at 6 p.m.

Police said the arrest followed "a short term investigation into the sale of marijuana in the village" by the Greenburgh Drug and Alcohol Task Force, including Irvington Detective Kevin Johnson.

The man was issued an appearance ticket, according to police, and is due in court on August 12.
