Man Kicks Woman’s Dog on Trail

This report was derived from information from the Hastings-on-Hudson Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

A Hastings woman was walking her dog southbound on the Old Croton Aqueduct on Nov. 14 around 4:30 p.m when a male was walking in the opposite direction and in close proximity to her.

This caused the dog to growl and the male claimed that the dog allegedly bit him, which the dog owner denies.

The man—described as a white male in his thirties at about 5’6 with dark hair and a green jacket—then allegedly kicked the dog and continued walking northbound. The dog was not injured and police could not locate the suspect after searching the area.
