Bruno Vaccarezza, the 19-year-old Connecticut man behind the wheel of the 2013 Volkswagon that sped off the Sprain brook Parkway and struck an overpass in Greenburgh Sunday morning died before the vehicle caught fire.

Earlier this week, the Westchester County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed the three young passengers in the vehicle all suffered a number of internal injuries as a result of the crash and were dead before another driver on the parkway called 911 to report the car on fire.

The Medical Examiner's office was waiting to confirm Cos Cob, CT, resident Vaccarezza's identity using dental records before releasing his official cause of death today—""multiple blunt force injuries with fractures of jaw, rib and pelvis, lung contusions and liver lacerations."

Officials previously said none of the four victims tested positive for carbon monoxide, proving they perished prior to the car catching fire.
