Update: Body Found in Indiana Not Greenburgh's Spierer

A body found in an Indianapolis creek is discovered not to be Lauren Spierer.

Update: The Huffington Post reported Tuesday afternoon that "Indiana officials say that a body found severely decomposed in an local creek is probably not the remains of missing Indiana University student Lauren Spierer."

According to the article, preliminary autopsy results found that the unidentified woman found in the creek was black. Spierer is white.

Indianapolis police confirmed finding an unidentified woman's body in a local creek this weekend and contacted investigators searching for missing Greenburgh college student Lauren Spierer, the Huffington Post reported in an article published earlier on Tuesday.
