Police: Man Gave 30-Pack of Beer to Underage Person
Irvington Police reported the exchange occurred last night in a parking lot between a Tarrytown man and Sleepy Hollow man.
A Tarrytown man was reportedly caught in the act of handing of a 30-pack off Bud Light to an underage person in Irvington Thursday night.
According to the Irvington Police Department, the Greenburgh Drug and Alcohol Task Force arrested the 23-year-old after he provided the 20-year-old Sleepy Hollow resident with the beer at about 9:55 p.m.
The alleged crime occurred in the Shell gas station parking lot on North Broadway, police said.
The Tarrytown man was charged with Unlawful Dealing with a Child in the First Degree, a misdemeanor. He was also cited for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation.
He was processed at police headquarters and then released on his own recognizance, pending a future court date.
The Sleepy Hollow man was not charged, police said.
