Police Respond to Group Fight

This report was derived from information from the Hastings-on-Hudson Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

  • Police had to twice report to a call about a fight in progress on Southside Avenue involving about four to six people on Nov. 4. Police first arrived around 1 a.m. to find that a verbal altercation was under control, but had to return to the Southside residence about 45 minutes later when the altercation turned physical. The suspects had left the scene by the item police arrived. No charges were filed.
  • A 54-year-old Hastings-on-Hudson woman reported seeing an unknown male standing on her front stoop holding a Nike gym bag when she arrived home at her Amherst Drive home around 12:15 a.m. on Nov. 3. The male asked her for the time, then fled. The Nike gym bag was taken from her mother’s Lexus parked near her home. There was clothing inside the bag.
