At around 11:15 on Sunday morning, a female college student who lives in a shared apartment on Maple Street said she was awakened by yelling outside her door and discovered a 60-year-old man in her living room, police said.
"The young woman said the man was a private investigator looking for her roommate," said Dobbs Ferry's Sgt. Martin Coster.
The student described the man as "a short, white male with a white mustache."
He left his business card and promptly vacated the residence, Coster said.
Police could not provide any more details on the content of the business card because they are still investigating this case. If found, the suspect will be charged with criminal tresspassing.
