Police: Student Brandishes Knife at School

This report was derived from information from the Dobbs Ferry Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

A 14-year-old Children’s Village student is accused of brandishing a knife in the hallway at school and threatening another student with it, according to police.

The 14-year-old allegedly had an ongoing dispute with the 16-year-old victim, before harassing the victim around 10:50 a.m. on Nov. 14. The teen was given a juvenile delinquency ticket to return to family court—though he would have been charged with menacing, a class A misdemeanor in the second degree, had he been charged as an adult.
