Police: Student Brandishes Knife at School

This report was derived from information from the Dobbs Ferry Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

A 14-year-old Children’s Village student is accused of brandishing a knife in the hallway at school and threatening another student with it, according to police.

The 14-year-old allegedly had an ongoing dispute with the 16-year-old victim, before harassing the victim around 10:50 a.m. on Nov. 14. The teen was given a juvenile delinquency ticket to return to family court—though he would have been charged with menacing, a class A misdemeanor in the second degree, had he been charged as an adult.

What a shock -- more crime from the Children's Village! I suppose residents of Dobbs Ferry should be thankful they kept the crime on-campus this time around. Of course, these miscreants will never learn if all they get is a ticket to family court and quick ride back to CV. Also, I can see the CV "security" force is living up to its usual high standards, letting one of these delinquents roam the hallways with a knife. Even the NYC public schools these kids attended before beginning their lives of crime have metal detectors at the door.

Get rid of CV Period!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Send all those law breaking kids to jail and let them reform there! I am tired of hearing about those crazy kids breaking the law. Enough
