Police: Suspended Driver Had Marijuana

Irvington Police reported stopping the Dobbs Ferry resident on Main Street.

A Dobbs Ferry man has been charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the Second Degree following a September 9 traffic stop, according to Irvington Police.

Officers reported stopping the man's vehicle on Main Street, near Astor Street, at 10:45 a.m. last Monday.

In addition to driving with a suspended license, police said the 22-year-old also had "several bags" of marijuana in his vehicle.

He was therefore also charged with the violation Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.

The man's vehicle was impounded and he was processed and released on $250 bail.

He is due in Irvington Court on September 23.
