Teens Smoke Pot at Dows Lane, Credit Card Fraud

  • Two Irvington 14-year-olds were picked up by police after being caught smoking pot on the grounds of Dows Lane Elementary School on Nov. 23 around 3:35 p.m. The teens were brought to headquarters and released to their parents.
  • A 63-year-old Irvington resident reported on Nov. 23 around 6:30 p.m. that he had been a victim of identity theft.  He discovered that someone attempted to used his credit cards to make a purchase at Peter Glen Ski & Sports when a store associate called him to confirm the order. The purchase was cancelled and no charges were made to his credit cards, which he canceled.
