Hastings Board of Trustees to Discuss Village Spending Plan Wednesday

The Hastings-on-Hudson Board of Trustees will hold a work session April 16 to discuss the village's proposed spending plan for 2014-15.

Village Manager Francis Frobel has proposed a spending plan of $13,981,982, which would require an estimated tax rate of $244.78. Click here to view the proposed budget.

According to Frobel, the proposed spending plan "translates into a general fund increase of $372,620. This represents a 2.7% increase and requires no increase in property taxes."

Wednesday's work session is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the lower level Orr Room of the Hastings Public Library, 7 Maple Ave.
