The two-comedian solution to peace in the Middle East

StandUp for Peace comes to The Purple Crayon on Saturday, October 19!

Scott Blakeman and Dean Obeidallah, a Jewish-American and a Palestinian-American comedian respectively, take on global conflict through comedy in their "disarmingly funny" show. StandUp for Peace "offers smart, thoughtful humour about our families, ethnic and religious backgrounds, as well as our progressive political humor."

Scott Blakeman is known for his political comedy and standup class; he's taught comedians like Jon Stewart and Caroline Rhea. Scott is an "astute, funny political observer" who has been called "the top political comedian working in New York today."
