Dobbs Ferry Fifth Graders Sing National Anthem at Citi Field
The Harmonaires of Springhurst Elementary School in Dobbs Ferry rehearsed for two years before their performance of the National Anthem at Citi Field last week.
The Harmonaires, fifth graders from Springhurst Elementary School in Dobbs Ferry, sang the National Anthem before a New York Mets game at Citi Field on April 23.
Under the direction of George Swietlicki, the group practiced together for two years before the performance.
Perhaps the team will invite the students back, because the Mets ended up beating the St. Louis Cardinals 3-2.
