My wife performed the Heimlich Maneuver on the young boy. We are very proud of her!

This is certainly something to be proud of! Your wife reacted quickly to a child in distress. I am the parent of a 3rd grader at Fawn Hollow and am appreciative that your wife works there. So the story posted by The Patch stating that CPR was performed is inaccurate?

Great job! My daughter will be starting kindergarten there in the fall. Good to know such great staff work there.

I heard them say "CPR" at the board meeting, but someone later told me it was the Heimlich Maneuver. The story has been edited to reflect that.
