Irvington's school district has updated its district-wide safety plan leading up to the 2013-14 academic year.
The plan outlines response protocol for all schools that result from scenarios like bomb threats, fires, natural disasters and other unplanned circumstances.

The district's Board of Education plans to adopt the updated plan at its August 27 meeting.
