Ardsley Day 2012

Annual Ardsley Day Community Festival Rings In Autumn With Fun for All Ages.

From an old-fashioned apple pie-baking contest (where participants are encouraged to use
locally grown ingredients) to live music performed by great local bands, Ardsley residents and
visitors of all ages can find something to enjoy at this city's annual community celebration.

Ardsley Day offers a wide variety of free attractions and activities each fall and this year will also mark the anticipated grand re-opening of the Ardsley Community Center. The festival will be alive with activity encompassing the “downtown” area of Center Street, Legion Park, Addyman Square, the Village Green and the corresponding section of 9A.

There’s truly something for all ages at Ardsley Day. Teens can climb a rock wall, bungee or groove to live music by local bands. Younger kids can play on inflatable obstacle courses, drive bumper cars or glide down giant slides, while the littlest ones will enjoy face painting, a balloon artist, creating a fun fall craft or s’mores made by the local Boy Scout troop.

While enjoying the live music, demonstrations and performances, parents and adults can also buy a slice of homemade pie, peruse dozens of booths representing area businesses and crafts or sample A Taste of Ardsley with free food and drinks from the local restaurants and merchants. All are welcome to capture the spirit of the day with pictures from a Photo Booth.
