The sun is shining and schools are open, but hundreds in the Rivertowns are still without power.
According to Consolidated Edison there are still 112 customers in Ardsley without power, 209 in Dobbs Ferry, 356 in Hastings and 325 in Irvington.
The utility company reports a total of 31,609 outages throughout Westchester County—which they aim to have repaired by 10 a.m. Thursday.
In an email blast to the community, Hastings Mayor Peter Swiderski said: "If you need a shower, Anthony Tarricone who owns Equalize Sports on Executive Boulevard, has offered shower facilities to all those without power. Equalize (formerly Court Sports) is at 1 Odell Plaza just off Executive Boulevard, a half mile south of Hastings."
He also noted that if you need housing, Andrus has offered rooms. To book one, call the Hastings Police Department at 478-2344.
In Irvington, the Senior Center on Bridge Street is open and heated.
Con Ed hopes to have all Rivertowns outages repaired by midnight Wednesday.
