Hastings Library Turns 100; Back-to-School Nights

Here are some things to keep in mind this week
:

1. This week in Irvington, the Architectural Review Board meets Monday (view the agenda here) and the Zoning Board of Appeals meets Tuesday (that agenda is here). Also Tuesday, the Board of Education meetings at 7:30 p.m.

2. Dobbs Ferry's Board of Trustees meets Tuesday evening (agenda here). Among the items on the agenda—three tax certiorari approvals, support of the Love Em & Leave Em program and more.

3. Hastings Public Library continues to celebrate its 100th year with a "Birthday Blowout" Wednesday evening. Stop by the library parking lot between 5:15 and 6:30 to enjoy live music from the St. Christopher's Marching Cobras Band and eat a slice of birthday cake.

4. Back-to-School nights continue in Dobbs Ferry this week: grades three to five are scheduled for Tuesday and high school is Wednesday. Also this week, the Board of Education meetings at 7 p.m. Thursday.

5. Hastings' Board of Education meetings at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Hastings High School's back-to-school night is slated for Thursday.
