The Irvington Board of Education will hold a special meeting Tuesday, Jan. 7 in the Campus Presentation Room to discuss next steps regarding the district’s athletic fields and facilities. Superintendent Kristopher Harrison will provide a presentation to update the board and public on the scope of work required for East Field, along with possible improvement options for Meszaros Field and district facilities. "Life Lines," pen and ink drawings by William F. Stifel, will be on exhibit at the Irvington Public Library from Monday, Jan. 6 through Jan. 31. Gallery hours are the following: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. An artist's reception will be held on Saturday, January 11th, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Irvington Public Library, 12 South Astor Street, Irvington, NY.  (914) 591-7840.
