'Love Your Hair, Show You Care' Blow-Dry Fundraising Event for Kids with Cancer

Has winter made a mess of your hair? Enjoy a blow-out at a luxury salon for a great cause.

It's an event that spans our communities and has the potential to touch so many of our region's families in such a special way.

Pearl River's Sunrise Day Camp, is a summer camp children with cancer and their siblings can attend for free. The camp is a program of Pleasantville's Rosenthal JCC in collaboration with the Barry and Florence Friedberg JCC.

Salon O, a luxury salon in Greenwich, CT, will be offering up ten of its top hair stylists at for a day-long Blow-Out fundraising event for this day camp on Monday, Jan. 27. It will be held at the salon on 239 Mill St, Greenwich.

“One of our customers told us about Sunrise Day Camp and we were so humbled hearing about it," said Omar Roth, one of the salon's owners. "We wanted to do something to lend our support and raise the money needed to send children with cancer in our area to this camp. The blow-dry event was a perfect union – doing what we do best - creating beautiful hair and helping Sunrise Day Camp at the same time.”
