Don't Miss: Christmas Caroling; ‘Guilt and Gelt’; The Hardware Diaries

See what's going on this weekend in Dobbs Ferry, Irvington and Hastings-on-Hudson.

1. A local Christmas Carol: Irvington resident and Larchmont Librarian Frank Connelly will appear as Charles Dickens to read "A Christmas Carol" at the Irvington Public Library on Thursday night, Dec. 12 at 7:30 p.m. The even is free. Parking is available in front of and behind the library building. All are welcomed.

2.  Guilt and Gelt: M&M Productions Acting Company returns to the Irvington Public Library Saturday, Dec. 14 at 2 p.m. with a  collection of comedy-drama one-act holiday romps, that takes place at Hanukkah and Christmas. Actors Carol Eagen and Suzanne Ochs play all the characters and Michael Muldoon directs. This production is free to attend, thanks to the support of the Friends of Irvington Public Library, but please register ahead by telephoning 914-591-7840.  Parking is available behind and in front of the library.

3. The Hardware Diaries: An original episodic comedy by Craig Campanaro, “The Hardware Diaries,” makes it way to the Art Academy of Westchester at 145 Palisades in Dobbs Ferry on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 7:30 p.m. It is a story of “life, love and plungers.” A complimentary desert and wine intermission will be sponsored by Lidia Bakeshop and Cake and Rochambeau Wines & Liquors. 4. The Market at 145 Palisades: The Market at 145 Palisade Street in Dobbs Ferry will operates alongside the Curious-on-Hudson bookstore Sunday, Dec. 15. Enjoy some delicious cheese, baked goods and prepared food while browsing among original and unique items for you and your home. Find unique holiday gifts, fresh coffee, hot cider, wonderful books in a loft space. Get out for a while and enjoy a little bit of old world-style shopping and socializing.

5. Christmas Caroling in Hastings: First Reformed Church and Trinity Rivertowns Church will host a Christmas carol sing in the First Reformed Church sanctuary, followed by a Christmas Potluck at 18 Farragut Avenue in Hastings-on-Hudson on Sunday, Dec. 15 at 4 p.m. The performance will include great historic hymns like "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel" and "Come, Thou Long Expected Jesus" as well as some fun seasonal songs with our whole families - invite your friends to celebrate the Christmas season.
