End of Summer Celebration

Where/WhenDobbs Ferry Public Library on Friday, Aug. 23 from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
Why go: The Dobbs Ferry library is marking the end of summer—and summer reading—with ice cream sundaes Friday afternoon.
Pricing: Free

Ardsley Summer Concert Series

Where/When: Pascone Park in Ardsley on Friday, Aug. 23 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Why go: Ardsley's free summer concerts continue this Friday at the park with a performance by The Saints.
Pricing: Free

Jake Miller at Playland

Where/When: Rye Playland on Friday, Aug. 23 at 7 p.m.
Why go: Pop-rapper Jake Miller will be performing at Rye Playland Friday evening. Opening acts for the show include Action Item, Nick Tangorra and Lucki Gurlz. MTV reps will be on-site offering chances to attend the 2013 Video Music Awards. The concert will be followed by fireworks. Parking is $5 per car.

Rock da Park

Where/When: Rev. Sykes Park (Wildey and Cortlandt Streets, Sleepy Hollow) on Friday, Aug. 23 from 3 to 8 p.m.
Why go: The Rock of Salvation Church has hosted this event for the past several years. There will be food, entertainment and games for the children, as well as special guest and speakers.
