Dobbs Ferry Middle School is the public middle school serving grade 5-8 in Dobbs Ferry. Their principal is Mr. Patrick Mussolini. Dobbs Ferry MS takes pride in offering a healthy environment that also provides the rigorous academics to prepare students for high school and college. Their programs include foreign language instruction for all grade levels, art and music education, a homework center for additional instruction, support services and counseling and state-of-the-art computers and technology.

Dobbs Ferry Middle School has maintained small classes and a strong sense of community. Students are encouraged to delve deeply into course material, ask questions and think critically.

"Middle School teachers are especially well-trained in their course material," said district superintendent Debra Kaplan. "We are currently pushing for all students to take integrated algebra in the 8th grade; most already do."
