James Harmon Community Center

<p>Constructed in 2007, the Hastings community center is an open and airy building located directly next to the fire station in Hastings. The center employs a full-time staff of three recreation employees, one superintendent and a senior outreach worker. It offers activities including a ping pong club, yoga, line dancing and tai chi. Almost all activities are free to Hastings residents.</p> <p>The building also houses the community youth center, which is run by a youth advocate. Amenities in the youth center include computers, video games, pool and a variety of board games.  </p> <p>It contains the offices of the village's Parks and Recreation Department. </p>
