Cv Wants For Nothing May 9, 2013 at 07:07 pm
I'm so tired of hearing what CV kids need, are you kidding me? I don't think CV or Graham school…Read More kids need anything. They have everything they need as is, feeding off Hastings. Obviously they have the freedom to commit crimes in a village that remains in complete denial. Hastings' Mayor Swiderski and his board, a collection of the most, entitled, in denial folks you are apt to meet anywhere, are talking about less cops, not more. When you are talking about the wrong guy at the wrong time, you are talking about Hastings Mayor Swiderski. Good luck Hastings, you need it.

I just want to say that whether or not this guy had a weapon is ridiculous. That area is very…Read More isolated a good deal of the time - it doesn't take a weapon to physically force yourself on a young girl. Also, as the mother of a child with some special needs (her brain works differently) I can say that some children are affected differently than others by abuse and a dysfunctional childhood. My daughter was adopted and she had been severely neglected as an infant and as a result, the executive functioning part of her brain is affected. Some kids get through the neglect and abuse and do fine with help; some don't. Parenting this child has opened my eyes. She's a good kid, but ostracized for being different. You don't have to be a bleeding heart liberal to understand this; however, a horrific crime is still a horrific crime and there is no other place for this guy than the justice system.

Smoking pot is illegal as we'll as resisting arrest that is why it is not ok, if a head shop is…Read More conducting illegal activity I'm all for going after them, and yes smoking weed in public is low level criminal activity that DOES affect quality of life, maybe not yours but consider others who do have a problem with illegal activity

If it's ok to have a bong store, how come it's not ok to smoke pot? Where were you when the quality…Read More of life was ruined then?

To A G
Some "herbs" are illegal and I thank the police - policing our town so it dosen't…Read More " go to pot" with the lack concern for our youths fututre and better judgement perhaps. A G should be faced with the pitfalls of drug abuse- or is it too late for AG to comprehend the detrimental effects both mental and physical on one's mind and judgement.

When they aren't attacking each other in school, they are out attacking people in the neighborhood.…Read More This place needs to be shut down. Think how much money Hastings would save by not having to respond to this place every other day.

It's ridiculous. They either need to be moved to another school in the Bronx or something or they…Read More need a lot stricter rules with random searches and metal detectors, maybe even guards. This is not a joke - what the kids are doing. I'm actually surprised that none of the staff members have gotten hospitalized.
