Dobbs Ferry Police Beat September 1 – 7: Yonkers Woman Charged with DWI, Man Charged in Money Order Theft

September 2 Windshield and Tire Slashed Causes $500 Damage 4:48 a.m. A 58-year-old Yonkers resident parked on Palisade Street reported that someone had broken his windshield on his Isuzu truck and slashed his front driver's side tire on an international truck, causing $500 in damages. This incident, criminal mischief in the forth degree, an E felony, occurred between 1 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. September 3 Marijuana Found on Young Speeder 1:10 a.m. A 17-year-old Hastings resident was pulled over for going 46 mph on Broadway, a 25 mph zone. When pulled over, the officer noticed a green leafy substance he believed to be marijuana by the passenger side.
