Leslie earned a B.A. from Connecticut College and a M.S. from the College of Communication at Boston University. She worked at advertising and public relations agencies in Boston, including Arnold & Company, HBM Creamer and Doremus. Leslie served as PTA President at Julian Curtiss School from 2002-2003. Her daughter Ella Dawson graduated Greenwich High School in 2010 and attends Wesleyan University in Middletown. Leslie's deep roots in the local community will no doubt inspire her local stories. As community manager Leslie does outreach to bloggers and has helped hundreds get join the conversation on their "home town" Patch sites.
