Police: Irvington Man Charged with Buying Teens Alcohol

Three teenagers were reportedly caught with alcohol on the Main Street School campus.

Irvington Police, in conjunction with the Greenburgh Drug and Alcohol Task Force, took three teenagers into custody the evening of May 24th.

According to police, the youths were found at the Main Street School campus in possession of alcohol at approximately 8:45 p.m.

Police subsequently arrested a 23-year-old village man for allegedly purchasing alcohol for the underage teens.

The man was charged with Unlawful Dealing with a Child in the First Degree and released on his own recognizance.

The youths involved, one 17-year-old and two juveniles, were released to their parents.

The suspect is due in Village Court on Monday, June 17.
