Teen Arrested for Harassing Irvington Family

Village Police said they expect to make more arrests in relation to an alleged series of harassing incidents.

An 18-year-old Irvington resident turned himself into police Wednesday afternoon, when he was charged with violation Harassment in the Second Degree.

According to police, the teen was arrested as a result of a complaint from a Legend Hollow resident, who said his family was harassed by a group of people multiple times between May 22 and May 27.

The group reportedly banged on the family's door in the middle of the night on several occasions, according to police.

Police were unable to say why this particular family was targeted.

The teenager was processed and released June 12. He is due in court on June 17.

Police said they anticipate making additional arrests in connection with the alleged incidents.
