Dobbs Ferry Resident Allegedly Pulls Knife

This report was derived from information from the Dobbs Ferry Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A 36-year-old Dobbs Ferry man was arrested on Jan. 5 for allegedly brandishing a knife at a former resident outside of Dunkin’ Donuts on Southfield Avenue.

Police responded to a call of a fight in progress at the shopping center around 6:28 p.m. Witnesses told police that the 36-year was allegedly arguing with the 32-year-old victim, now a Yonkers resident, inside the coffee shop over $10 that the victim owed the arrested party.

The Dobbs Ferry resident allegedly pulled a knife and threatened the Yonkers man with it, police said. The 32-year-old told police that he feared for his life, so he punched the Dobbs Ferry resident and tried to subdue him.
