Yonkers Man Arrested for MDMA, Marijuana Possession

The 26-year-old is accused of having a small plastic bag of "Molly" and a glass vial of the dried plant leaves.

The Greenburgh Drug and Alcohol Task Force arrested a 26-year-old Yonkers man and a 21-year-old Massachusetts woman for drug possession on Southside Avenue on April 25.

The male is accused of having a small bag of crystallized powder believed to be MDMA, also known as ecstasy or “Molly,” as well as a small glass jar of green dried flower leaves believed to be marijuana.

He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana (UPM) a violation. He was released on $160 bail and must appear in court on May 15.

The female was also charged with a UPM and is accused of possessing a round purple marijuana grinder and colorful glass pipe, which was allegedly packed with pot.  She was released on her own recognizance and must also return to court on May 15.
