Some main roads in Dobbs Ferry and Hastings continue to experience detours this week as Con Edison works on underground gas lines in the two villages.
Dobbs Ferry Police said Con Edison has been working in the Ashford Avenue area since mid-last week—today a lane is blocked/rerouted in front of Stop & Shop—but usually wraps up work in the afternoon.
In Hastings, Warburton Avenue continues to be affected by ongoing gas line repairs. A police car is stationed at the intersection of Warburton Avenue and Route 9 today, with traffic from Broadway being rerouted into the business district via Main Street.
