Dog on Roof; Jumping in Front of Cars

This report was derived from information from the Hastings-on-Hudson Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

  • A Warburton Avenue resident called police on Nov. 12 after seeing a dog stranded on the roof of a shed on his or her street. Hastings-on-Hudson Police were able to fashion a structure so that the dog could climb down by itself. The dog was not injured or in distress and was located in a fenced in area.
  • A witness came into police headquarters on Nov. 12 around 4:05 p.m. to report that a group of kids were intentionally waiting in between parked cars and running out into the street in front of moving cars as they passed by at Main and Whitman streets. Police arrived on the scene and warned the group to stop.
