Resident's Stolen Car Found in Yonkers

This report was derived from information from the Hastings-on-Hudson Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

Yonkers Police found a stolen 2002 Red Jeep Liberty near Chestnut and Oak streets in Yonkers on Jan. 11, which belonged to a Hastings-on-Hudson resident that reported it stolen a month prior.

A 38-year old Warburton Avenue resident reported on Dec. 11 that car keys had been stolen from his home. The man was not the owner of the car.

The owner of the car, a 66-year-old man who lives at the same address, reported later that afternoon that the car had been stolen while parked on the street in front of the home.
