Scarsdale resident and former Chase Bank employee Paulo Camilo is facing two separate felony grand larceny charges in connection with the theft of $190,000 from an 84-year-old Yonkers woman with dementia, according to police.
The 34-year-old is accused of making two $50,000 withdrawals from the woman’s account and depositing the funds into his own account while he was working at the Chase Bank in Hastings-on-Hudson between June 2007 and May 2008.
He was charged with second-degree grand larceny.
Camilo is also accused of making two additional withdrawals of $30,000 and $60,000 from the account while he was employed at the Chase Bank in Elmsford, from April 2009 and August 2009, police said.
Elmsford Police advised Hastings Police of a problem with a bank account after the victim’s daughter recently noticed the missing funds.
Camilo is free on $2,500 bail pending a hearing.
The Elder Abuse Bureau of the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office is investigating the case.
