Thousands in Identity Theft Charges

  • An 18-year-old Manhattan resident, who attends St. Christopher’s School, reported that her Citibank Bank Card was stolen and that there were $3,354 worth of unauthorized charges made to the card, as well as a pending possibly fraudulent deposit for $3,448. She lost the card while she was in Dobbs Ferry between Oct. 2 and 3.
  • A 48-year-old Dobbs Ferry resident reported that his identity was stolen and that someone opened a Lowes credit card in his name and charged $1,445 to it on Oct. 10.
  • A 56-year-old Dobbs Ferry resident reported that her 2010 Subaru was scratched down the right side of the vehicle while it was parked across the street from her house on Mohican Park Avenue. The damage is estimated to be worth $300.
