Wallet Stolen From Purse at Grocery Store

An 80-year-old Irvington resident said that her wallet was stolen from her purse while a man distracted her by asking her about strawberries at a grocery store on Main Street in Hastings-on-Hudson.
There was about $500 cash in the purse along with several credit cards. One of the credit cards had a charge for $200 at a Walgreens in Yonkers and a $600 charge at a CVS in Yonkers. The incident is still under investigation.
