Woman Followed on Saw Mill River Parkway

This report was derived from information from the Hastings-on-Hudson Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

A Dobbs Ferry woman called police to tell them a person in a Honda Accord was following her on the Saw Mill River Parkway on Oct. 11 at 10:23 p.m. She reported that the vehicle was following her closely and was flashing its high beams at her, then cut her off and abruptly slowed down in front of her vehicle to 20 mph on the highway.

Police caught up with both cars and questioned the two parties in A&P’s parking lot on Main Street in Hastings-on-Hudson. The two parties knew each other and were engaged in a dispute, according to police. The driver of the Honda, a 44-year-old male from the Bronx was given a warning.
